In addition to the official commemoration, there are unique forms of engaging with the history of the Berlin Wall within the culture of remembrance. Over the past 35 years, people have repeatedly developed games about the construction or fall of the Wall, model kits of the border installations, or model vehicles.
In the collector's model of the Weimar Mobile Excavator T174 Edition "Mauerfall" (Fall of the Wall) two sections of the Wall for demolition are included. In a playful way, the fall and demolition of the Berlin Wall can be staged, or the excavator can be collected as a symbol of the fall of the Wall.
